Senior Staff Accountant Smyrna, TN $33.00 – $45.00/hour Accounting / Finance About the Opportunity – Senior Staff Accountant Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Staff Accountant to support core financial operations and reporting within a fast-paced environment. This role offers strong exposure to leadership and the opportunity to help drive process improvements while ensuring financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities – Senior Staff Accountant Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies Assist with internal and external audits Recommend and implement process improvements Partner with cross-functional teams including AP/AR and operations Qualifications – Senior Staff Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–6+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle preferred Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis) CPA or CPA candidate preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
