Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Architect III to join their team. As an Application Architect III, you will be part of the Risk Technology Department supporting various strategic and regulatory programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Understand business requirements and lead analysis and translation into technical specifications, budgeting, and documentation.
• Review technical requirements with the development team to ensure alignment with business needs and scalability for long-term strategies.
• Perform complex data analysis, design data models, and develop strategic solutions to support organizational goals.
• Participate actively in agile routines including sprint planning, capacity planning, prioritization, and backlog management.
• Review initial testing and implementation phases to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of solutions deployed.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience as a business analyst working on significant technical delivery projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and quantitative model partners and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, SQL, and Python, with experience in project management tools.
• Experience working in Risk technology or risk management environments.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making skills, and a self-starter attitude.
