Position Customer Logistics Manager - Outbound Transportation Ops Location: Bloomfield, CT 06002 Schedule: Sun–Wed, 6:00pm-6:00am. Candidates must be available and willing to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts as customer operations span 24/7. Overview The Customer Logistics Manager - Outbound Transportation Ops will oversee the day‑to‑day operations within an assigned function, responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. The role leads direct reports and attains daily operational goals, ensuring quality service to customers. Responsibilities Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling Health and Safety Management State/Local/Federal regulations compliance Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Ability to work within international functional teams High level analytical ability for unusual and difficult problems Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job‑related area Off‑shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis Make timely decisions Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization Work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) – advanced required Logistics industry knowledge – advanced required Knowledge and understanding of local and Federal regulations – advanced required Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components – intermediate required Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production – advanced required Qualifications High School diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field required One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required Compensation Pay Type: Salaried. Minimum Pay Range: $70,000. Maximum Pay Range: $75,000.
