FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview Floor Technician positions available (full time and part time). Location: DMC Sinai Grace Hospital, 6071 West Outer Drive, Detroit, MI 48235. Online applications accepted only. Responsibilities Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas Follows procedures for carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques Ability to follow safety procedures Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs Compensation & Schedule Fixed Pay Rate: $18.69 per hour. Schedule: Full time and part time; hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends. Details provided upon interview.
