Summary Human Resources Specialist – Baptist Health LaGrange (Full Time, Day Shift). The HR Specialist maintains personnel files for contract employees, ensures compliance with accrediting regulations, tracks licensure and certification expirations, and communicates status to relevant departments. The role supports LaGrange and Louisville hospitals and is located in LaGrange. Responsibilities Maintain all personnel files for contract employees to meet accreditation standards. Track, verify, input data, and communicate licensure and certification expiration requirements. Facilitate cross‑department communication for scheduling and onboarding. Participate in weekly new‑hire orientation, collect required documentation, and prepare personnel files. Perform administrative tasks that support the HR department. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Associate’s Degree preferred. One year of job‑related experience (may not be in Human Resources). Previous HR experience in a high‑volume setting preferred. Very strong skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Workday system preferred.
