Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach

Overview Now Hiring in San Diego. Active Recovery Network is currently hiring a Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach in San Diego. This is a full-time role (part-time to start as we build your caseload) for a clinically savvy coach who will join a team and contribute to a unique, engaging, and meaningful program. ARN has been providing in-home coaching and case management for clients with mental health concerns, drug and alcohol issues, and those looking to improve function, fulfillment, and meaning for over a decade. The role offers a flexible and dynamic work environment and an opportunity to make a true impact as part of a team. The position starts part-time and will grow to full-time as the caseload develops for the right candidate. The successful candidate will work as part of the ARN family, contributing as both a team member and a self-directed, ethical professional. Responsibilities Direct work with clients and families to manage and/or overcome mental health and addiction issues Utilize assessments, self-assessments, and ARN curriculum to map out client wellness and recovery plans; serve as an accountability partner and coach Hold clear boundaries and communicate directly and effectively with clients and parents regarding change and growth processes Develop strong, healthy relationships with clients to support and challenge them in the work of changing and thriving Teach and model hard and soft life skills Maintain fluency in supportive clinical and community resources; develop strong working relationships with community treatment and clinical service providers Coach parents to support change and growth for the entire family system Demonstrate high self-awareness by continually assessing performance, identifying challenges and needs, and developing areas for improvement Maintain complete and accurate records Model a growth mindset and pursue personal growth work in parallel with clients and families Contribute to the mission and vision of the company Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field 3-5 years of experience in a clinical and/or coaching environment within the drug and alcohol treatment and/or mental health treatment industry Knowledge of and fluency in psychological tools, recovery resources, insight into motivation and behavior, and understanding of coaching as a change agent Clinical license is a plus but not mandatory Clinical experience plus coaching and leadership experience is a significant plus Self-motivated, coachable, trustworthy, ethical; able to work well as a team member and independently We do not provide clinical supervision hours toward licensure Expertise in psychology, addiction recovery, and coaching Ability to navigate resistance and deploy techniques to enhance motivation to change Ability to serve as a role model, positive mentor, and support person Understand and support each client’s evolving Recovery and Wellness Plan Commitment to continuous improvement Self-directed, proactive, intelligent, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with professional communication skills Ability to manage stress, stay self-regulated during chaos and crisis, maintain a positive attitude, and work well with a team Demonstrates a balance of clinical savvy and practical resilience; communicates with kindness and creativity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality or sex. #J-18808-Ljbffr Active Recovery Network / San Diego, California
