Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team. The PTA will implement patient treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the therapy team
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support patient goals
• Provide education to patients and caregivers related to therapy programs

Requirements

• Active state PTA license
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Must be able to work variable shifts
• No bilingual requirement
• Holiday coverage not required
