Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I trauma center in Kansas City, MO, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and working night shifts Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.

Details

• Located in Kansas City, MO
• Operating Room unit with 18 ORs
• Level I trauma center performing a broad range of procedures including cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci and Mako systems)
• Documents using Meditech EMR
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply as long as the 1-year experience requirement is met
