Position Details Position: Branch Manager (Madisonville) Location: Madisonville, LA Job ID: 430 #​ of Openings: 1 Salary Range: $58,920.89 to $73,651.12 (based on skills and experience) with incentives. Classification: On-site Role Overview As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, the Branch Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving business goals. The role involves managing staff, enhancing customer relationships, driving sales and service excellence, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with credit union’s strategic goals. Primary Functions The Branch Manager is responsible for: Overseeing daily branch operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. Managing staff, conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and developing career development plans. Enhancing customer relationships and driving sales and service excellence. Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conducting security meetings, opening/closing the building, and testing security equipment. Managing branch performance metrics and implementing best practices. Ordering currency in accordance with policy. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to branch staff to align operations with strategic goals. Conduct employee performance evaluations, set goals, and develop career development plans. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. Conduct required security meetings and ensure compliance and safety. Ensure staff delivers high service level meeting or exceeding member expectations. Address and resolve member concerns promptly and satisfactorily. Promote and support community involvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and conduct regular audits. Monitor and manage branch performance metrics, including sales, member service, and operational efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance member service excellence. Order currency according to policy. Comply with all company policies and applicable laws such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC. Knowledge and Skills Experience: 2-5 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills: High trust, credibility, and diplomacy; adept at sensitive and confidential communication. Other Skills: Strong decision‑making, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, effective delegation, time management, communication skills, customer focus, financial acumen, adaptability. ADA Requirements Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, use hands, stand, walk, lift up to 5 lbs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Working Conditions: Indoor climate‑controlled shared work area, minimal noise, routine indoor work. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements: Perform job functions independently or with limited supervision, handle multiple priorities, maintain composure under stress, exercise discretion, perform basic calculations, use computers.
