Travel RN – Neuro Med/Surg (4th Floor)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients on an 18-bed unit
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and compassionate care throughout the night shift
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neurology and/or Neurosurgery nursing
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patient populations
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
