Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS certification required Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist Description: This position involves working in interventional radiology procedures. Registered Nurses will monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures. The facility consists of 225 beds. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 1 patient. Equipment includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Candidates with experience in interventional radiology or Cath lab settings are preferred. A history of working in an emergency department or intensive care unit is advantageous. The type of patients on this unit requires invasive radiology procedures. Candidates should be confident and comfortable working in a team environment with technologists and registered nurses. Light blue surgical scrubs will be provided by the facility. Unacceptable attire policies are not specified. Computer-based training will be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. This position is created to fill a vacant position.
