About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Traveler will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit. - Will accept candidates with either M/S or Step Down RN experience as credentialing requirements are the same for both. - RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills must be completed. - Candidates should have travel experience and proficiency in using EPIC. - Must have the ability to float onsite within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if required. Description: This position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday. The traveler will be assigned to a unit based on the most urgent staffing needs. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in necessary skills and prior relevant experience. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for floating to different units as needed. Teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team are crucial for success in this role. Effective communication skills are vital in providing high-quality patient care.
