The Hospital
This established small-animal and exotics practice delivers full general-practice care under one roof, including wellness and preventive services, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, in-house diagnostics, medical boarding, and same-day urgent care during regular hours. The multi-doctor team is supported by licensed technicians, veterinary assistants, and on-site management, fostering collaboration and a positive, client-centered culture. Facilities include an on-site diagnostic lab, radiography, anesthetic and cardiac monitoring, fluid and syringe pumps, and precision scales. The hospital is known locally for compassionate care, clear communication, and a commitment to excellent client service and patient outcomes.

The Role
- Lead daily non-clinical operations to ensure exceptional client service, efficient workflows, and high-quality patient support
- Hire, onboard, schedule, and develop support staff; set clear goals and coach for performance and engagement
- Manage labor planning, timekeeping oversight, and compliance with scheduling policies
- Oversee budgeting, financial accuracy, and reporting; monitor revenue, cost controls, and KPIs
- Direct inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships; ensure accurate charge capture and billing practices
- Maintain facility standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance; ensure all professional licenses and permits remain current
- Partner closely with the medical team to align operations with clinical priorities and client experience goals
- Investigate and resolve client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Support weekend or holiday coverage as needed to meet hospital demands

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of office management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role; healthcare or veterinary setting preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and practice-management or related software
- Proven leadership, communication, and change-management skills with a track record of team development
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and strategic planning ability
- Comfortable working in a hospital environment with animals and common clinic materials; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to work some weekends and holidays
- CVPM or MHA preferred; ability to maintain any applicable Georgia credentials and adhere to state regulatory requirements relevant to the role
