Job Description:
As a Tolling Business Analyst you will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze document and improve tolling systems and processes. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications develop process documentation and ensure solutions are aligned with operational needs while balancing cost efficiency and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes systems and operational needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify system gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop process flows context diagrams and data flow diagrams.
- Gather and document business requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
- Support backlog management including grouping user stories and tracking dependencies.
- Create prototypes and mockups to illustrate proposed solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend cost-effective business and technical solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans including regression testing and UAT coordination.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- 10 years of experience in business and systems analysis.
- 5 years of experience working in Agile environments with strong Scrum knowledge.
- Strong experience documenting business processes and system requirements.
- Expertise in creating user stories acceptance criteria and backlog management.
- Proficiency in business process modeling using BPM tools and techniques.
- Experience working with large enterprise-level systems.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Visio and Project.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications such as CBAP PMI-PBA or PMI-ACP.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile planning and tracking.
- Experience working in transportation tolling or public sector environments.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
