Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a hands-on Irrigation Field Manager to lead field crews, oversee daily operations, troubleshoot complex irrigation systems, and ensure exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise irrigation crews performing maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, renovations, and installations.
• Remain hands-on in the field, assisting technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Schedule and coordinate daily field operations, including crews, equipment, materials, and project timelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, smart controllers, valves, pumps, wiring, sensors, drip irrigation, and water distribution components.
• Train, mentor, and develop irrigation technicians to improve technical skills, productivity, and workmanship.
• Conduct system inspections and identify opportunities for improved performance, water efficiency, and conservation.
• Monitor job quality, crew performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, commercial clients, property managers, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to improve field operations, scheduling, efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on irrigation experience involving installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Experience supervising or managing crews of at least 5 irrigation technicians.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex irrigation system issues.
• Experience scheduling crews, coordinating projects, and managing field operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish – required.
