We are looking for a reliable, motivated Cook to join our team and provide nutritious, well-prepared meals for our clients and staff.
The Cook will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and the needs of our clients. This role plays an important part in supporting the health and well-being of those in our care.
- Prepare and cook daily meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements.
- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Monitor inventory and notify leadership of supply needs.
- Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
- Assist in menu planning with a focus on balanced, nutritious meals.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, or residential facility preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Compassion and respect for individuals in recovery.
