Position Overview

- Hours: 32.5 Hours per Week
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM
- School Year: 2026-2027 School Year
- Contract Duration: September 8, 2026 - June 25, 2027
- Setting: Elementary School
- Student Caseload: Approximately 40-50 Students
- Assignment Type: Year-Long Maternity Leave Coverage
- Compensation: Competitive hourly pay of $51 - $54 per hour
Requi rements
- Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- New York Teacher of Students with Speech and Hearing Handicaps (TSHH) Certification or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Support students in developing communication skills that enhance academic and social success
