Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in grades K-3

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom climate

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for K-3 students in a self-contained classroom setting
• Administer assessments, collect data, and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
• Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
• Work closely with support staff, related service providers, parents, and administration
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
