Pharmacy Operations Supervisor

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This role will lead a team supporting pharmacy benefits, insurance verification, claims, and patient outreach operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership experience along with a background in pharmacy, healthcare, medical insurance, or a related highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacy benefits, claims, insurance verification, and/or patient support specialists
Manage daily workload distribution, staffing coverage, productivity, and service levels
Monitor individual and team performance against established metrics and operational goals
Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and develop improvement plans when needed
Support recruiting, interviewing, and selection of new team members
Oversee onboarding and training to ensure employees are prepared to perform effectively
Identify workflow or process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and consistency
Partner with other operational teams to resolve issues and maintain a high level of service
Address performance concerns through coaching and appropriate corrective action

Requirements:

5+ years of leadership, supervisory, or people management experience
Experience leading teams in a metrics-driven, high-volume operational environment
Pharmacy, healthcare, medical insurance, pharmacy benefits, claims, or related industry experience
Strong coaching, performance management, and team development skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
