Job Title: Registered Nurse

License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district


Certifications: CPI, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring


Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired


Description:
Must live over 100 miles away.
The patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation, laboring individuals, and scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions.
Triage issues also arise within the patient population.
The activities on the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative procedures, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section).
Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems.
