Location: Cleveland, OH, free parking Salary: $55-65K, hybrid What You'll Bring: Strong foundation in accounting principles, with expertise in GAAP and financial regulations 1-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting, with exposure to diverse grant awards, or a minimum of 7 years of comparable professional experience in lieu of a degree Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills with a transparent, collaborative approach Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information Nice to Have: Prior experience working within nonprofit organizations or government grant management Familiarity with payroll processing and internal controls Experience supporting or leading financial meetings and preparing detailed reports Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred 7+ years of professional accounting experience if without a degree Exposure to federal, state, or local government grants, and pertinent compliance standards Additional Requirements: Ability to serve as a backup for payroll processing Willingness to support diverse business operations and team initiatives Commitment to social justice and promoting equitable opportunities Step into a role where your skills help create lasting community impactapply today and be part of an organization that invests in your growth and success! #J-18808-Ljbffr
