Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER or Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting
• Valid RN license with active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Proficiency in ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to orientation
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have:

• Experience with stroke management, TPA administration, and trauma stabilization
• Knowledge of EMR systems like Meditech Expanse
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Educational and Experience Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 2 years of ED experience, with recent trauma or critical care background
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required for seasoned permanent staff transitioning into travel

Additional Requirements:

• Must be separated from previous travel assignments for at least 1 year if previously a permanent staff RN
• Willingness to work up to 7 days of RTO (Request for Time Off) per 13-week contract, with specific scheduling restrictions
• Ability to work 4-day or 3-day weekly shifts within rotating schedules, including every other weekend and some major holidays
• Comfortable with scrubbing in with pewter scrubs, and adhering to dress code standards
