Registered Nurse (RN) in CCUJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Clinical Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Third Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3 shifts per week) Experience: No experience required License: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state Certifications: BLSDescription: The RN implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person. The focus is on creating a caring environment that promotes healing and wellness. Nursing practices are based on evidence, current research, hospital policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity. Nursing excellence is promoted through helping relationships among nursing staff and across other disciplines. Responsibilities include coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit. This involves nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments. Facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities is essential.
