Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique abilities
• Partner closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure proper accommodations and modifications
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies to engage students and track progress
• Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of settings, including small groups and one-on-one
• Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Maintain clear and professional communication with families regarding student growth
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages self-advocacy, confidence, and independence
