Property Management Specialist
The selectee will serve as a Property Management Specialist in the Office of Field Operations, Criminal Investigative Division. Typical work assignments include:
- Providing guidance and instructions regarding the implementation of federal property regulations, directives, and initiatives related to the receipt, identification, classification, accountability, utilization, maintenance, inventory, temporary storage, record keeping, reports, and disposal of accountable and personal property.
- Conducting system analysis to identify deficiencies, recommending corrective actions and researching to determine the feasibility of identifying or designing new automated system upgrades and/or modifications.
- Reviewing reports for currency, accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Managing and tracking seized property; providing recommendations on property management strategies and communicating information to stakeholders.
