Overview Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Part‑time, Rotating Shift Food Service Worker for the Food Services Department. Location Norfolk, VA Responsibilities Deliver nutritious meals to patients. Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Prepare and assemble food according to dietary guidelines, safety requirements, and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes. Serve as a cashier. Meet utility needs. Ensure food safety standards are upheld. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred). Food Handlers Card – certification required by the local Health Department (Required). Food service experience (Preferred). Customer service experience (Preferred).
