Maintenance Director

Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center – Humboldt, TN

Full-Time | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Avondale Health and Rehabilitation Center  is a seeking a skilled and proactive to lead our maintenance team in Humboldt, Tennessee . In this role, you will oversee all aspects of facility upkeep, safety, and compliance, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in facilities management or maintenance supervision preferably in long term care

• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general repair work

• Leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance and repairs

• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff within department

• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Plan and execute capital improvement projects and renovations as needed

• Maintain maintenance records, inventory of supplies, and equipment logs

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations within facility

• Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement facility policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety of the facility
