Membership Specialist

Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Membership, the Membership Specialist performs key support functions to ensure efficient gift processing, accurate record keeping, and high‑quality customer service for membership and fundraising activities. Essential Functions Manages CRM operations: constituent and gift records, queries, validation, premium setup/inventory, fulfillment. Builds and maintains online donation forms (basic HTML) and CRM tables for fundraising, inventory, and processing. Administers and manages the Matching Gift program. Assists with sustainer retention efforts across mail, email, phone, and CRM. Creates and executes email campaigns through CRM and Constant Contact. Generates and fulfills acknowledgments and donor communications. Provides support at off‑site fundraising events and member drives at the radio station. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in membership or development operations. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience working in CRM systems. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial information. Basic HTML/web page design experience. Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including professional communication with colleagues and donors. Ability to adapt, redirect, multitask, and work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Ability and eagerness to work collaboratively as part of a motivated team. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to learn new tasks quickly. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Familiarity with WFUV’s music format. Salary Minimum Starting Salary: $65,000. Maximum Starting Salary: $70,000. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
