Local CDL-A Truck Driver

Job Title

Earn $33.75 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours

Local, home daily

Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral

What You Will Do:

Deliver palletized grocery freight throughout WA and OR

Light-touch freight to end of trailer with electric pallet jack, no hand unload

Home daily

Schedule:

5-day work week (weekends required)

2 consecutive days off each week

Dispatch window between 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Average 55-hour work week

Voluntary overtime available

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
