Basketball Instructor (Rainier Beach Community Center)Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Basketball Instructor to teach youth basketball classes at Rainier Beach.This position focuses on teaching fundamental basketball skills in a positive, structured, and inclusive environment.Status: Part-time, Seasonal (March – November)Work Schedule: Mondays, 4:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.Desired Start Date: March 23, 2026Basketball Instructor Responsibilities:Instruct participants in fundamental basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defenseLead drills and skill-building activitiesSupervise participants and maintain a safe and positive learning environmentSet up and clean up equipment and activity areasCommunicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisorsFollow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and proceduresBasketball Instructor Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderExperience coaching or instructing basketball in a recreational, school, or community settingExperience working with children or youthAbility to manage groups in a positive and supportive mannerPay:Starting Pay: $23.00 – $25.00/ hrFull Pay Range: $23.00-33.00/hr (employee may earn up to $33.00/hr with continued employment)Benefits:ARC Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST)LocationRainer Beach Community CenterWe are actively prescreening and interviewing for this role, so if this role is a good fit for you and you want to learn more about it, please apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr Associated-Recreation-Council
