The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to adult patients, with a focus on critical care procedures and ventilator management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) license; 2 years of experience; BLS certification; experience with Adult Critical Care; EMR experience with EPIC. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level Trauma or teaching hospital setting. Float: Float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs. Additional Information: The role requires proficiency in aerosol setup (mask and trach), airway management (endotracheal tubes, oral/nasal suctioning, extubation, tracheostomy care), ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, weaning), ABG interpretation, and inhaled medication administration (Albuterol, Atrovent, Inhaled Flolan, inhaled steroids, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex). Proper vaccination documentation (flu vaccine) is required, and only one medical or religious exemption is permitted for the flu vaccine.
