A 350 bed hospital recognized nationally for maternity excellence , patient safety, and experience invites an L&D Nurse Manager to lead within a high-reliability, outcomes-focused culture. Lead by the RN LD Manager, The Labor & Delivery unit features private LDR/LDRP suites, family-centered amenities, and a calm, comfort-first design for the birth experience . On‑unit cesarean ORs and coordinated postpartum couplet care support a seamless journey from admission through recovery. A Level III NICU, 24/7 obstetric and anesthesia coverage , and dedicated lactation consultants prepare the team for both routine and high-acuity needs. Patient‑centered choices—low‑intervention pathways, hydrotherapy options where appropriate, and collaborative birth planning—respect individual preferences. Standardized perinatal safety bundles and interdisciplinary rounding enable the Obstetrics Nurse Manager to align safety, dignity, and satisfaction at every step.
The Maternal Child Health Nurse Manager r eports to a Director of Women’s & Children’s Services and collaborates with the CNO to drive strategy, resources, and results. Robust support includes assistant nurse managers, a perinatal clinical nurse specialist/educator, lactation experts, scheduling resources, and strong ancillary teams. Responsibilities span staffing optimization, budgeting, throughput, accreditation and regulatory readiness, and nurse-sensitive outcomes. Priority metrics include NTSV cesarean reduction, obstetric hemorrhage and hypertension bundle reliability, sepsis readiness, and top-quartile patient experience.
