What You ll Do
• Provide hospital rounding and surgical procedures including aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and heart valve replacement
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Assist with emergent and scheduled cardiovascular surgeries as needed
• Document all procedures accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff
• Follow all facility policies and safety protocols
What You Need
Required:
• Medical license in South Carolina
• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Surgery or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant surgical experience
• Ability to perform complex cardiovascular procedures
Preferred:
• Experience with hospital rounding and surgical care in an acute setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
