Cath Lab Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting a team of healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care during cardiovascular procedures. You will utilize advanced equipment and follow established protocols to assist with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various cath lab procedures including coronary cases, structural heart interventions, and peripheral interventions.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance of the cath lab devices.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and document procedures in the Meditech system.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the cath lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Must hold certification as a Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) or Radiology Technician.
