Cross Island Provisions is an authorized purveyor of Boar’s Head Brand products, delivering high-quality deli and foodservice products to customers throughout Connecticut. We are seeking a dependable Route Driver to join our delivery team.
The trucks we drive are 18' box trucks.Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Boar’s Head Brand products to assigned customer routes
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles
- Load and unload products at the warehouse and customer locations
- Verify invoices and ensure accurate deliveries
- Rotate product and check dates at customer locations when needed
- Provide professional, friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicle
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Comfortable with early morning start times
- Previous delivery or route experience preferred (not required)
- DOT medical card a plus (or ability to obtain one)
