What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures utilizing digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment in various units
- Assist in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
- Operate advanced imaging machines including Philips, Agfa, Siemens, Carestream, and GE OEC C-arm
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (Meditech)
- Float between units within a short distance as needed, with initial orientation provided
What You Need
Required:- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- State License (LSRTBE), including temporary license if applicable
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and ER imaging preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends
- 2 years of radiology experience
- Basic fluoroscopy and surgical imaging experience
About the Assignment This position is with a top hospital in Bossier City, LA, an acute stroke-ready facility with Chest-Pain accreditation and 794 licensed beds. The role involves working on a 15-minute drive between units, providing diagnostic imaging for various patient care areas, including trauma and emergency services. The schedule includes every other weekend, with the possibility of requesting time off (up to 7 days), and will require working major holidays as part of the rotation.
