ABOUT THE TRAINING & EDUCATION TEAM

Partners closely with Product, Performance Management, Sales, and Leadership to close the gap between how customers are expected to use the platform and how they actually use it. The mission of our Training & Education Team is to increase customer adoption, engagement, and long-term stickiness by deeply understanding customer behavior and acting on it. The team is responsible for: Customer education and enablement Usage and behavioral analysis Adoption strategy and continuous improvement Feedback loops into Product and Go-To-Market teams Arming Sales and Marketing with real insights into what customers care about and why This is a high-visibility function with real influence over product direction, customer experience, and revenue outcomes. Think of our Training & Education Team as an elite operational intelligence unit focused on customer behavior.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for people who care about finding root causes, not just treating symptoms, when it comes to customer dissatisfaction. This role goes beyond traditional software training and sits at the intersection of customer education, behavioral analysis, and product feedback. The Customer Training Specialist ensures customers don’t just know how to use the platform, but actually do use it effectively. You’ll lead training initiatives while analyzing customer behavior, identifying adoption gaps, and translating real-world usage into insights that improve product decisions, onboarding, and customer outcomes.

THE EXPERIENCE

Experience delivering software training, enablement, or customer education Automotive retail or automotive SaaS/vendor experience is required Familiarity with dealership workflows and operational realities Experience working cross-functionally with Product, CS, or Engineering preferred

THE SKILL SET

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Ability to analyze usage patterns, workflows, and customer behavior Strong organization and time management skills Comfortable using desktop, mobile, and tablet applications Able to evaluate effectiveness of training and adoption initiatives

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Facilitate interactive, web-based training sessions for automotive dealerships across desktop and mobile platforms Design and deliver onboarding, launch, and ongoing education programs Conduct pre- and post-training engagement through follow-up materials and communicationAnalyze customer usage and behavioral patterns to identify adoption gaps and coaching opportunities Translate customer behavior into actionable insights for Product, Performance Management, and Leadership Assist with launch training for new products and feature releases Create, maintain, and continuously improve training materials and tutorials Support internal training for employees as needed Perform ongoing brand, workflow, and competitive research Partner with Product Development to research, test, and validate customer needs, enhancements, and new capabilities

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree or higher preferred; high school diploma required Automotive retail or automotive technology experience preferred Strong PC skills; hands-on experience with mobile devices and tablets required Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
