Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a dynamic Medical-Surgical unit on a contract basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Your MS nursing expertise will be instrumental in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing setting
• BLS certification required; additional ACLS certification preferred
• Exceptional clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and patient monitoring equipment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to MS patients, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care
• Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding health status, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and thorough charting in line with healthcare regulations and standards
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition with competent clinical interventions
• Uphold safety standards to prevent infection and promote healing
• Foster a supportive, respectful environment for patients and colleagues

$1,276 - $1,396/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
