Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually. What You'll Do Have at least 0-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting. Perform nutrition assessments on adult patients including those on nutrition support (cardiac & med/surg). Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units. Have experience with the nutrition care process and electronic health record charting. Have experience with Nutrition Focused Physical Exams. Work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff. Work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently. Participate in performance improvement projects. Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns. Have a strong desire to continue learning and advancing skills. Have good time management and communication skills. What You Bring Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Provide exceptional nutritional care and customer service to all patients and visitors. Be a Registered Dietitian or meet eligibility requirements for a registered dietitian. Must be licensed or have a provisional license in Arkansas before start date. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree if eligible for registration exam prior to 1/1/24) with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
