Senior Software Engineer

Seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer II for a full-time remote position within the United States, this role will serve as the technical lead for maintenance and long-term clients, ensuring their digital platforms are performant, secure, and strategically aligned with their goals. Key responsibilities Serve as the technical lead and primary technical advocate for clients, providing strategic guidance and proactive maintenance Develop and maintain websites using modern WordPress and other CMS solutions, while troubleshooting complex technical challenges Mentor engineers within the working group, coordinate task assignments, and support quality standards through code reviews Required qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in web development and 2 years in a client-facing role within an agency setting Advanced proficiency in web development technologies: HTML5, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Node.js, and React.js Extensive experience with modern WordPress development, including custom block development and headless architectures Strong knowledge of SysAdmins and DevOps practices, including web servers, DNS, CDNs, and security management Proven track record in building and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines and hosting platforms
