ROBOT SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Robot Software Engineer | Pittsburgh, PA Or Remote
We are looking for talented and motivated software engineers to help build a variety of robotic systems. The ideal candidate should be experienced with robotics. Hours are flexible. This is a contract-to-hire position, which will start part-time and ramp up as results are achieved. Exceptional candidates will be considered for future work.
Required Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar field
- Proficient with Ubuntu
- Proficient with Windows
- Strong Knowledge of C++
- 2+ years programming robotic systems
- Must work well independently, as well as with others
- Self-Starter
- Organized & able to meet or exceed deadlines
Preferred Experience
- ROS Experience
- Ph.D. or M.S. in robotics or similar field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of kinematics
- Experience integrating, debugging, and tuning servo controls
- Knowledge of mechatronic systems
- Github Proficiency
