Rhino Medical is actively seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens opportunity in Dumas, Texas . This is a non-medical direction (independent) practice model offering consistent weekday coverage, structured call opportunities, and a diverse surgical case mix.

Opportunity Details

Location: Dumas, Texas

Contract Type: CRNA Locum Tenens

Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing (rolling coverage)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 24-hour call shifts available:
  • Weekday backup + primary overnight
  • Weekend 24-hour call

Coverage Model:

• 3 CRNAs scheduled daily
• Ongoing vacation coverage ? additional dates regularly added

Clinical Scope
You will provide anesthesia across a broad, community-based surgical platform , including:

• Obstetrics (including deliveries)
• Orthopedic procedures
• Bariatric surgery
• Gynecology
• GI endoscopy
• Occasional pediatric dental cases

Block proficiency required



Practice Environment

• Independent CRNA practice model (non-medical direction)
• Community hospital setting with consistent surgical volume
• Structured daily workflow with defined shifts and call expectations

Typical Monthly Volumes:

• ~90 OR cases
• ~26 OB deliveries
• ~20 GI procedures

This is a steady, well-balanced anesthesia environment—not high chaos or low utilization .
