Support Services Representative

Job Summary Responsible for providing clerical support services in addition to providing medical records, EOBs, UB92s and itemized statements to external and internal entities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Processes requests for medical records, EOBs, UB92s, and itemized statements to designated business unit contact. Performs various clerical duties such as sorting correspondence, filing, photocopying, scanning, indexing documents. Also mail printing, tracking and distribution. Other duties as assigned by Management. Vaccinations and Screenings Conifer requires its candidates, as applicable and as permitted by law, to obtain and provide confirmation of all required vaccinations and screenings prior to the start of employment. This may include, but is not limited to, the COVID-19 vaccination, influenza vaccination, and/or any future required vaccines and screenings. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, excellent listening skills, and organizational skills. Ability to work in fast pace environment. Must have demonstrated an ability to learn within a short period of time. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of healthcare terminology. Customer Service skills. Ability to research and work independently. Data Entry and 10-key by touch. Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 0 - 3 years business office or related experience. Physical Demands Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Work Environment Office/Teamwork Environment.
