Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerPortland, Oregon, United StatesPosition ID: P-770924Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-11-02T00:00:00.000Z$3,049.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring Epic charting experience and scrub proficiency with manifold-based procedures.DetailsWork in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care, Level I Trauma teaching hospitalPerforms diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, left and right heart catheterizations, and IABP placement/removalUses Epic for chartingDay shift schedule working 4x10 or 5x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730Call requirements of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend per monthOpportunity for holiday call consisting of 12-hour call shiftsFloating required within the site and across the system as requestedRequirementsActive RN license (Oregon State license or proof of application and fingerprinting required)Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferredMinimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience requiredEpic charting experience required, including passing an Epic Test-Out ModuleScrub experience required with manifold (non-Acist) systemsLevel I Trauma experience preferredProficiency in skills such as ACT monitoring, sheath removal, 12-lead EKG/ECG, cardioversion, and dysrhythmia interpretation/managementOne professional reference required from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager, preferably within the last yearNo felony convictions acceptedAdditional InformationResponsible for circulating and scrubbing in on cardiac catheterization and interventional proceduresAdministers and monitors procedural sedation, IV therapy, and emergency medications including antiarrhythmics and vasopressorsMust complete all assigned education and compliance modules within one week of starting the assignmentCompliance documentation must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the start dateScrubs provided for this specialty; otherwise any color besides all black, dark green, or camo is acceptableCandidates must not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the health systemMaximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignmentFormer staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerFirst-time travelers may be considered for the right applicantHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 10
