BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This is a working supervisor, full-time position that is responsible for, but not limited to the following; collecting fees, working in the grill area, preparing and serving food, stocking and inventory of food and beverage supplies, and maintenance for grill fixtures.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to perform all food service-related tasks
• Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions
• Knowledge of food handling and TABC regulations
• Knowledge to work with equipment and supply vendors
• Knowledge of golf equipment, supplies, and be able to assist customers with questions
• Ability to make change accurately and receive and account for money
• Ability to correctly perform event table set-ups, including proper preparation and presentation
• Ability to meet and work with the general public in a friendly and courteous manner
• Ability to work effectively with minimum direct supervision
• Knowledge of event menu items and ingredients

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school graduate or equivalent; OR

Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED

A Valid Class C Texas driver license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Will be required to obtain and maintain Food Service Manager's card and TABC certification within thirty (30) days of employment, training is provided.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND SAFETY HAZARDS

Primarily in an indoor environment with the ability to operate outdoors when needed. May be exposed to extreme heat and cold during summer and winter months.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Standard office equipment including multi-line telephone, computer, fax machine, copier, scanner, printer, etc.

Beverage golf cart, driving range golf cart, golf cart, cleaning and sanitizing aides, food service products and tools, etc.
