Job Summary:
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Wichita, Kansas. This assignment involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients in a Cardiac Neuro Intensive Care Unit. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment and procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, current hospital ICU experience of at least 1 year, BLS certification, ACLS certification, NIH Neuro ICU experience, and minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience in an ICU setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, surgical procedures such as heart catheterizations (STEMI & NSTEMI), use of Impella, balloon pumps, TTM, CRRT, neuro procedures including EVDs and thrombectomy, central lines, arterial lines, medication drips for vasoactives, sedatives, and paralytics.
• Additional Information: The unit has a capacity of 26 beds with a typical census of 20-24 patients, staffing of 10-12 RNs per shift, and specialized equipment including Impella and balloon pumps. Bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds are mandatory. Staff should be driven, organized, efficient, and maintain a positive, engaged attitude.
