How you'll contribute

A Telemetry Technician who excels in this role:

• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor.

What we're looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Licenses: EMT, EMT-P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA preferred or completion of first semester clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing Degree Program (ADN or BSN).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; completion of Cardiac Telemetry Certification within 1 year of hire; evidence of successful completion of Telemetry/Dysrhythmia course.
• Two years of telemetry experience and HUC.

Hourly range: $17.34-$24.06
