Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
• Skilled in creating and implementing therapeutic programs for school-aged individuals
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, families, and staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to required documentation
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop and deliver targeted treatment plans to improve mobility, coordination, and participation
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for cohesive care
• Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive equipment
• Support districts in legal compliance regarding special education services
