Your Responsibilities: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our properties in Newport, Middletown, and Portsmouth, RI. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include: Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy. Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance. Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed. Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas. Updating the Yardi mobile app and keeping the Maintenance Superintendent and Property Manager informed of work order status. The work hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared on rotation. Skills & Requirements Your Qualifications: We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required. The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well as independently, is required. Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is a plus. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
