Purpose Of Position
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining and cleaning guest rooms. Room Attendants must maintain and clean guest rooms according to the standards of the hotel.
The Ideal Candidates Will Have
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum 1-year Room Attendant experience, preferable at a luxury hotel
- Excellent communication skills. Must be able to receive instructions and make reports with accuracy.
- Knowledgeable about applicable laws regarding the operation of hotels and restaurants.
- Great attention to detail and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
